This mimics reality in a way since you don’t stand in front of a person and stare blankly for a minute while thinking up something to say or do.
If the character is tense or frightened, they will shake and there is a time limit to how long you can see some choices.
You can also hear what the character is thinking or feeling by looking at the dialog choices. You alter the story by making certain choices during the story. The game starts off with one of the characters son’s going missing causing the father, and the others, to race against time to save him and bring the killer to justice. This is also a very adult game with mature themes and images. Heavy Rain is a dark, gritty crime drama whose story is shaped by four player controlled characters. What I can say has been seen in the trailers, so it will not be very much of a reveal to talk about some aspects of it. Having finished this game, I can say that this game, along with Infamous, Flower, and the Uncharted series, ranks as one of the titles that sets PlayStation 3 apart from the competition and will be considered one of the hallmark titles for the console.Story: This game focuses very heavily on the story and I cannot give too many specifics or I will spoil it for you. This is a game that cannot be conveniently placed in any specific video game genre nor does it follow many typical standards for game play. Heavy Rain has been in development for over four years and it was time well spent.
